Sri Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mahavidyapeetha traces its spiritual and educational lineage to the Suttur Math, established in the 11th century by Adi Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji. Carrying forward this centuries-old tradition of service and learning, JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) was founded in 1954 in Mysuru, and has since grown into one of India's most respected educational trusts, nurturing generations of engineers, doctors, managers and scholars across the country.
